FundView Website Privacy Policy
This Website Privacy Policy explains how FundView Finance LLC, an Indiana limited liability company doing business as FundView (“FundView,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information when someone visits fundviewk12.com or a public page delivered through FundView (the “Sites”) or contacts us through the Sites.
This policy does not govern District Data processed through a school corporation’s subscription. That processing is governed by the applicable Master Subscription Agreement and Data Protection and Security Addendum.
1. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, and security or diagnostic events recorded by our hosting and security providers;
- Necessary cookies or similar technologies used to operate, secure, and maintain the Sites;
- Information you provide, such as your name, work email address, school corporation or organization, phone number, and message when you contact us or request information; and
- Public-page information, meaning the requests made to public pages. We do not require a visitor account to view a page intended for the public.
The Sites do not request payment-card data. Do not send student records, Social Security numbers, banking information, or other restricted information through a general website contact form.
2. How we use information
We use website information to:
- deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Sites;
- respond to inquiries and provide requested information;
- prevent abuse and investigate security events;
- maintain business records and comply with law; and
- communicate about FundView when permitted by law. A recipient may opt out of promotional email using the instructions in the message.
3. How we disclose information
We may disclose website information:
- to service providers that host, secure, maintain, or support the Sites and communications on our behalf;
- when required by law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request;
- when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or users; or
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use website information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Retention
We keep website information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, support, legal, and recordkeeping needs. Service-provider logs may follow the provider’s documented retention settings. District Data follows the retention and deletion terms in the applicable Data Protection and Security Addendum.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Children
The Sites are directed to school officials, other professionals, and community members, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the Sites. FundView’s subscription service is designed for school finance and is not intended to receive student-level education records unless the parties expressly agree in writing to different terms and appropriate safeguards.
7. Third-party links
The Sites may link to websites that FundView does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices.
8. Your choices and requests
You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information you submitted directly through the Sites, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Email support@fundviewk12.com. Requests concerning District Data must come through the subscribing school corporation because the school corporation controls that data.
9. Changes and contact
